06 — ARTRIC
Engineering, Made to Be Seen.
ARTRIC turns the distribution board into part of the architecture. We do not decorate a panel — we lay out the engineering so precisely that it deserves to be on show.
For villas where every wall is designed, including the one that holds the switchgear.
Three opening collections. Each one is adapted to the home it goes into — its stone, timber or metal carried onto the board.
Concept visuals. In a built ARTRIC board no art element covers a breaker, a meter display or a control: the art lives only in zones reserved for it.

Engineering layer
A fully working distribution board at the back: main switch, surge protection, residual current devices, circuit breakers, energy analysers, smart relays, shutter modules, 24 V DC supplies and UPS, communication modules — wired to professional panel standards.
Art layer
In front, a separate decorative layer that never touches the electrical parts: CNC-cut aluminium, 3D-printed sculptural forms, clear or smoked acrylic, painted finishes and addressable lighting.
Take the art layer off and a standard, serviceable distribution board remains.
The beauty comes from the layout: breakers in exact horizontal rows, each function its own block, cabling as controlled geometry, light that picks out the groups.
Incoming and protection Main switch, coordinated surge protection, residual current devices.
Circuit breakers Lighting and power circuits, each protected and labelled.
Smart relays and shutters DIN-rail relays and shutter modules for automation.
Energy analysers Per-circuit consumption over Modbus, readable remotely.

Temperature monitoring Sensors inside the board; ventilation sized to the heat budget.
Cable ducts Separate ducts and labelling: every conductor traceable.
Connected to your app: warm white in normal operation; when there is an energy fault the affected group lights in another colour.
- Every breaker, meter display and control stays visible and within reach.
- The board's total heat loss is calculated and manufacturers' mounting clearances are kept.
- Temperature sensors inside; filtered or passive ventilation where the heat budget requires it — the heat from the lighting included.
- Decorative materials are assessed for flame spread and smoke.
- The clear front is chosen for impact, UV and fire behaviour — a certified door is never simply swapped for acrylic.
- Each board is verified against IEC/EN 61439-3 for distribution boards and, where it applies, IEC/EN 60670, before handover.
- Lighting runs on its own low-voltage circuit.
- Status lighting can show a fault in colour; it never replaces protective devices or mandatory fault indication.
A DIN-rail UPS keeps 24 V DC controls running. Keeping 230 V loads alive is a separate AC UPS design.

Priced by module count and automation scope, not like a standard board: a villa board with over a hundred modules and dozens of shutter and lighting circuits is a different project.

The dimensions are a starting assumption; final depth and layout follow the component list and the heat calculation. The prototype is built and safety-tested before any ARTRIC board goes into a home.
